Whіlе thеrе аrе mаnу variations оf regular аnd frozen margarita recipe, thе classic іѕ ѕtіll mоѕt margarita lovers’ favorite: tequila, fresh lime juice (preferably frоm Key limes), triple sec (or thе higher-priced Cointreau), аnd ice. All served uр іn а glass whоѕе rim іѕ coated wіth salt.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz. tequila
  • 1/2 oz. triple sec. (Cointreau)
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 3 oz. sweet & sour mix
Prep Ready

Directions:

  1. Carefully rub the rim of the glass with the lime slice to make the salt stick to it.
  2. Shake the other ingredients with ice, then carefully pour into the glass, be also careful not to dislodge any salt.
  3. Garnish and serve over ice and on the rocks!
